Hello

Beyond the Vine Events was created from my love of wine and the joy of sharing my wine knowledge with others. My goal is to have wine be approachable for everyone.

My Story

We all start somewhere, and I found myself 30 years ago wandering around random wineries in Napa Valley, generally unsure of what I liked. Thankfully, I had a friend who was much more knowledgeable than me and passionate and generous with sharing his favorite wineries with friends and family. My own preferences started to emerge.

From Napa Valley, I spent years exploring other wine regions around the US, followed by Europe and the Middle East.

I also began my formal wine training, starting with the Court of Master Sommelier in Napa Valley.

Wine for me is something I’ve long enjoyed sharing with others. Everyone at any level can learn something or simply relax and enjoy the moment. It is my greatest pleasure to share my passion with you today.
